A family-owned, 100% Portuguese business, Marques & Silva has manufactured chairs in Águeda since 1980. More than four decades of experience, a 10,000 m² factory, 60+ production specialists and annual capacity of over 35,000 pieces support demanding projects in Portugal, Europe and international markets. Metalwork, woodworking and upholstery come together under one roof, with ISO 9001 certified manufacturing, bespoke development and private-label production.

In MS we value the quality of our products. We only work with CMHR Foam (Combustion Modified High Resilience), a fire-retardant solution that guarantees harmony between safety and comfort.
We only use wood with PEFC certificate
Every collection uses PEFC-certified wood, ensuring responsible forestry and full traceability across the supply chain.
Our products respect the environment
In MS we use only water-based adhesives. Besides being odourless and fireproof, they protect the health of our teams and the environment while preserving standards of excellence.
